Mitsuwa Marketplace - New Jersey

I love this supermarket, has a great variety of asian food more Japanese, amazing food court with various small shops inside of different foods including a bakery. Great selection of Sushi as well with a nice view of the Hudson River and NYC. Add to that a nice walkway path right behind the super market. Picture attached is from walkway.

One of my favorite Japanese grocers in the tristate area. I stop by 85% of the time I am in New Jersey while visiting friends. Mitsuwa Marketplace offers a variety of Japanese produce, meal sets, sweets, snacks, beverages, and home goods. There are sometimes fun events to attend alone or with others. I like to buy a meal set or dessert to enjoy along the waterfront before checking out the other stores in the plaza and completing my grocery run.

Amazing place, bring your family and friends! Amazing selection of food, toys, books and groceries. Also has an incredible alcohol selection for beer, sake and spirits. It’s always a treat to visit!!

Interesting market with food courts. I enjoy my visit, with great food time flys. I came on the right time when the Japanese festival here.

This review is solely for the Supermarket. Asian / mostly Japanese supermarket. Love their bento boxes, I usually buy 4-5 and eat them for lunch at work for the week, especially when im doing double / back to back shifts. Reasonably priced. They also have Japanese snacks and drinks. It's long drive to go here (mostly traffic, GWB) so I stock up and make the trip worthwhile and buy a lot. If you need Japanese products / grocery, this is the place to go!

Love this place. I love Asian food and love to prepare it at home. Always stocked with every ingredient I need to prepare sukiyaki and all our favorites. Lovely location to make a day of it to walk around the Hudson and to eat from one of their many varieties of food in their food court. Everyone is always so nice and friendly.

I celebrated my Birthday here with my husband . We had reservations and was promptly seated when we arrived. They had a nice menu selection of Indian foods and desserts. I had asked our waiter to ensure that my food was slightly spicy. I could hardly eat it as it was way too spicy. I had to constantly sip on my mango lassi to counteract the . 1 My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal. We had to wait long for interactions with our waiter as the place was packed.....he said it was opened over the last 2 months. Suggest that bathrooms be checked for upkeep and fix any doors that cannot be locked. My score would be 4.5
